Farmers Markets seeks suppliers

The Palmyra Western Farmers Markets are looking for meat and dairy (cow or sheep) farmers to supply their products to farmers markets in Perth on Sundays.

The PWFM is happy to organise a weekly, fortnightly or monthly rotation.

PWFM is a weekly market which takes place from 8am – 12pm on a Sunday. They work closely with other local farmers markets and can help farmers to make contact with other markets to maximise their time and money. This would allow the farmer the ability to trade all weekend on a regular basis.

If you are interested, take a look at their Facebook page, by clicking here,  for the most up to date information about PWFM or connect with them on Twitter @PalmyraWFM.

The Palmyra Western Farmers Market (PWFM) is an authentic farmers market with direct links to the Palmyra Primary School’s Kitchen Garden Program. The school’s garden, aka The Pally Patch, was once the WA demonstration school for the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program (SAKGP). Once federal funding ended for SAKGP, the school accepted the offer to facilitate the farmers market as a way to continue its version of this inspiring program. The PWFM is held weekly on land adjacent to The Pally Patch. It is a friendly market that provides a terrific selection of fresh produce, coffee, breakfast and take home food options. Monthly art and craft events allow local artisans to showcase their wares. The Christmas Night Market is the highlight of the year with Palmyra Primary School’s choir singing carols, delicious food, artisans for last minute shopping and free games to make every member of the family smile.
